‘’Allegory of the Cave’’
I have just reading an article telling a story called ‘’Allegory of the cave’’. It was a very confusing article. According to Websters dictionary the word Allegory means ‘’The expression by means of symbolic fictional figures and actions of truths or generalizations about human existence’’. But to me an Allegory can be something of a story that can be something totally different. A good example for this can be the science fiction film called the Matrix starring Keanu Reeves. When Neo is trap in the Matrix and he is not sure what he must do to get out. In the article Allegory of the Cave is about Prisoners being chained up in a cave since childhood and they have no clue on how to get out. Then they set up movements and steps on how to get out.
